Dr. Levin has broad expertise in cognitive, socio-emotional and behavioral change over the life course. Her primary research focus is on the intersection between normative aging and early neurodegenerative disease. Her work aims to identify the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical changes signaling the beginning of a decline. She receives federal and state funding to study these changes over the life course and to develop precision based interventions designed to change the downward trajectory of decline as well as identlfy markers of successful aging.
