  Dr. Levin holds a BS in Psychology from Georgetown University and a PHD from Temple University. She completed her internship in Neuropsychology at Boston Childrens Hospital and an externship at the Boston VA Hospital. Her clinical work focuses on the evaluation of individuals experiencing cognitive change over the life course and developing interventions to alter the trajectory of decline. Her research examines early biomarkers and risk factors associated with of cognitive decline. She is also dedicated to teaching and serves as a research mentor.

• Teaching Interests

  Dr. Levin directs the Schoninger Neuropsychology Teaching Program in which she oversees all cognitive and behavioral assessments carried out in the Division of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. She supervises the activities and of a large practicum and post doctoral training program dedicated toward helping trainees to become clinican-scientists. She lectures regularly to graduate students and is the coordinator for Neuropsychology rounds.

  Dr. Levin has broad expertise in cognitive, socio-emotional and behavioral change over the life course. Her primary research focus is on the intersection between normative aging and early neurodegenerative disease. Her work aims to identify the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical changes signaling the beginning of a decline. She receives federal and state funding to study these changes over the life course and to develop precision based interventions designed to change the downward trajectory of decline as well as identlfy markers of successful aging.
